我愿脚步立定
好像炎暑远行辛苦
投进磐石荫影

好像旷野欣逢居处
长途喜见凉亭
到此得息肩头重担
养力奔赴前程

2神圣庄严的十架
我常抬头仰望
双眼如见宝血倾流
为我忍受死亡

热泪满眶寸心如裂
两事仔细思量
思量我身不配受恩
思量主爱非常

3神圣十架的荫下
是我安乐之乡
主面光华辉煌照耀
何须别有光亮

世界虚荣不足贪图
得失非所计较
但将罪恶看为羞耻
宝架看为荣耀

1 Beneath the cross of Jesus
I fain would take my stand
The shadow of a mighty Rock
Within a weary land

A home within the wilderness
A rest upon the way
From the burning of the noonday heat
And the burden of the day

2 Upon that cross of Jesus
Mine eye at times can see
The very dying form of One
Who suffered there for me

And from my smitten heart with tears
Two wonders I confess
The wonders of His glorious love
And my own worthlessness

3 I take O cross thy shadow
For my abiding place
I ask no other sunshine than
The sunshine of His face

Content to let the world go by
To know no gain nor loss
My sinful self my only shame
My glory all the cross
